Short answer

The best UGC platform for an agency that runs its own briefs across many clients is a flat plan with a workspace per client, such as AgencyUGC at $149 a month for ten clients with no fee on creator pay. Insense is best for paid social agencies that need content in Meta and TikTok ads fast, JoinBrands for TikTok Shop and Amazon sellers, and Vidovo or Cohley for agencies that want the vendor to run campaigns.

Subscription platforms charge 7% to 15% of every creator payment on top of the plan. That is fine for a brand and expensive for an agency on fixed retainers, because the fee grows with client orders while your price does not.

$149/mo

AgencyUGC Plus, 10 clients

Flat price with no percentage of creator pay. $888 billed yearly, which works out to $74 a month.

7% to 15%

Typical creator fee elsewhere

Insense Agency takes 7%, JoinBrands 8% to 15% by tier, Vidovo 7% to 12%. Each is added to every creator payment.

3 to 5

Brands on competitor agency tiers

Vidovo Pro covers three brands and Insense Agency five. Past that, you pay per brand or ask for a quote.

Competitor prices read on insense.pro, joinbrands.com, vidovo.com, soona.co, grin.co and cohley.com between 2026-09-14 and 2026-09-26. Billo's pricing page redirects to a login, so its figure comes from public directories. AgencyUGC prices are our current published plans.

What matters

Five things that decide the best UGC platform for an agency

Creator pool size is on every vendor's homepage. These are the things that actually change an agency's margin.

Roster

A workspace per client

Briefs, creators, files and rights records stay inside the client they belong to, so nothing leaks between accounts.

Margin

A platform line that sits still

A percentage of creator spend rises with client orders. A flat plan keeps the cost you priced into the retainer.

Clients

Your rate on every client document

Reports and invoices should show the client rate you charge, never the creator's wholesale rate.

Rights

A license record per asset

Log the license term and placements on each approved video so a client never runs an ad past its paid usage window.

Growth

A published price for client eleven

If the next client means a sales call, you cannot quote your own retainer until the vendor quotes you.

How to evaluate

How to test a UGC platform with one client before moving the roster

1

Pick one live client brief

Use a real campaign with a known budget, platform and content type so the results are comparable across vendors.

2

Run it on two platforms

Compare matched creators, turnaround and the full cost including fees. The brief builder on this page runs without an account.

3

Cost the whole roster

Multiply the fee by your monthly creator spend across all clients and add the plan. That is the real platform line.

4

Check what the client sees

Open the report or share link a client would get and confirm the creator's rate is not on it.

The agency pitching UGC as a new service

What is the best UGC platform for agencies?

The best UGC platform for an agency is the one whose bill does not grow every time a client orders more content. For agencies that run their own briefs across several clients, that is a flat plan with a workspace per client: AgencyUGC at $149 a month for ten clients or $499 for unlimited, with no fee on creator pay. For agencies that want the vendor to source creators and hand back finished videos, Billo, Insense or Vidovo's managed service fit better.

Most "best UGC platforms" lists are written for a single brand buying content for itself. An agency buys differently. It resells the content inside a retainer, it needs each client kept apart, and it cannot show the client the creator's wholesale rate. Those three needs decide the ranking below more than creator pool size does. We build one of the products on this list, so every competitor figure comes from that vendor's own pricing page, and we say where each one beats us.

Three pricing models sit in this table, and the model matters more than the headline number. A subscription plus a percentage (Insense, JoinBrands, Vidovo) grows with client orders. A price per video (Billo, soona UGC) includes the creator, so it is simple to resell but leaves you no room to negotiate rates. A flat plan (AgencyUGC) keeps the platform cost still while you pay creators directly at rates you agree.

How much do UGC platforms cost for a 10-client agency?

For an agency with ten clients and $10,000 a month of creator work, the platform line ranges from $149 a month on a flat plan to about $2,000 on a subscription with a creator fee. The table shows only what the platform charges on top of creator pay, using each vendor's published terms.

Platform and planSubscriptionFee on $10,000 creator payPlatform cost a month
AgencyUGC Plus (10 clients)$149$0$149
AgencyUGC Pro (unlimited clients)$499$0$499
JoinBrands Max$499 less $150 credit$800about $1,149
Insense Agency plus 5 extra brands$800 + $500$700about $2,000 before extra seats
Vidovo Pro$899 for 3 brands$700$1,599 for 3 clients; 10 clients is a quote

Billo, soona UGC and Cohley are left out because their price is per video or by quote, so there is no separate platform line to compare. GRIN is left out because it has no plan that separates clients; the credit math for an agency is on the GRIN alternative for agencies page. Across a year the gap is large: $1,788 on AgencyUGC Plus billed monthly, or $888 billed yearly, against roughly $13,800 on JoinBrands Max and $24,000 on Insense at the same volume.

The subscription vendors include things a flat plan does not. Insense and JoinBrands run the marketplace, handle creator payments and give you access to pools of 35,000 to several million creators. If you do not already have creators and you do not want to pay them yourself, that service is what the percentage buys.

Which UGC platform should an agency choose?

Choose by how your agency sells UGC, not by creator count. The honest short list for each type of agency looks like this.

Agencies selling fixed UGC retainers to many clients

A flat plan with per-client workspaces fits best, because a fee on creator spend takes a bigger slice every time a client orders more while your retainer price stays the same. AgencyUGC Plus covers ten client workspaces at $149 a month and puts your client rate, not the creator's rate, on every report and invoice the client sees. The white label UGC platform page shows exactly what the client sees and what stays hidden.

Performance agencies running paid social for ecommerce brands

Insense is the strongest pick when the content has to land in Meta Partnership Ads or TikTok Spark Ads quickly. It is also the most expensive at agency scale, and its fee structure is broken down on the Insense pricing for agencies page. Billo is the simpler option if you want finished videos at a known per-video price and do not need rights management across clients.

Agencies with TikTok Shop and Amazon sellers

JoinBrands lists TikTok Shop videos, Amazon shoppable videos and TikTok Shop lives with videos from $25 and images from $10, and no other platform here matches that catalog for marketplace sellers. The trade-off is an 8% to 15% fee on every creator payment, costed out on the JoinBrands alternative for agencies page.

Small agencies without a content team

Vidovo's managed and hybrid models, or Cohley's Managed Services, let the vendor do the creator work. You pay for that in price or in a quote you cannot see in advance. The Vidovo alternative and Cohley alternative pages explain when that trade is worth it.

What should an agency look for in a UGC marketplace?

An agency should look for four things in a UGC marketplace: a separate workspace per client, a price that does not rise with client volume, client-facing reports that hide creator rates, and a usage-rights record on every asset. Creator pool size matters less than it looks, because most agencies end up rehiring the same 20 to 50 creators who perform.

  • Client separation. Briefs, creators and files for one client should never show up in another client's view. Insense caps this at five brands on its agency plan, Vidovo Pro at three.
  • A predictable platform line. A percentage of creator spend is fine for a brand. For an agency it is a cost that grows with every order while the retainer stays fixed.
  • What the client sees. If a report or invoice shows the creator's $150 rate, your $400 client rate becomes a negotiation.
  • Rights tracking. Paid usage terms differ by creator. A record of the license term and placements on each approved asset protects the agency when a client runs an ad past the licensed period.

Are UGC platforms worth it for agencies?

Yes, once an agency runs UGC for more than two or three clients. Below that, a spreadsheet and direct messages with creators work. Past it, the time spent matching creators, chasing revisions and tracking which client licensed which video for how long costs more than any plan on this page. The question is which pricing model keeps the platform from eating the margin you priced into the retainer.

A quick test: take one real client's monthly creator spend and multiply it by the vendor's fee, then add the subscription. If that number is more than a tenth of what you charge the client for UGC, the platform is taking too much of your margin. Creator rates themselves are a separate line; current ranges by format are in UGC creator rates in 2026.

How we compared these UGC platforms

Every price and limit above was read on the vendor's own pricing or agency page, not from third-party directories, except Billo, whose pricing page redirects to a login and whose per-video figure comes from public directory listings. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so rather than guess. We did not score creator quality, because it varies by niche and by brief, and any agency should test that with a real campaign before committing.

Each competitor has a longer breakdown: Insense, Billo, JoinBrands, Trend and soona UGC, and AgencyUGC pricing for our own plans.

Frequently asked

Questions agencies ask before they switch

For agencies running their own briefs across many clients, a flat plan with per-client workspaces is the best fit: AgencyUGC is $149 a month for ten clients with no fee on creator pay. Insense suits paid social agencies, JoinBrands suits TikTok Shop and Amazon sellers, and Vidovo or Cohley suit agencies that want a managed service.
The top UGC platforms agencies shortlist in 2026 are Insense, JoinBrands, Billo, Vidovo, soona UGC (formerly Trend), GRIN and Cohley, plus AgencyUGC for multi-client agency work. They use three pricing models: a plan plus a percentage of creator pay, a price per video with the creator included, or a flat plan.
From $49 to about $2,000 a month for the platform alone, before creator pay. At ten clients and $10,000 a month of creator work, AgencyUGC Plus is $149, JoinBrands Max about $1,149 and Insense Agency with extra brands about $2,000. Per-video platforms like Billo and soona UGC run about $89 to $259 a video with the creator included.
One with a published price past five clients and no fee on creator spend. Vidovo Pro stops at three brands and Insense Agency at five before add-ons or a quote. AgencyUGC Pro covers unlimited client workspaces at $499 a month.
Billo is simpler, with about $99 a video and the creator included, while Insense charges $800 a month plus 7% of creator pay but pushes content into Meta and TikTok ad accounts. Below roughly a $92 creator rate Insense's marginal cost per video is lower; above it Billo is. Neither separates a large client roster cheaply.
Most transfer some usage rights on delivery, but terms differ. Vidovo grants full copyright ownership and Cohley perpetual rights, while marketplace creators often license content for a set period. Record the license term and placements on each asset so a client never runs an ad past its paid window.
